Gingers Revenge Pour on a Record Class!

Spring is really here! Lets make some wonderful weird art!

In this UNIQUE never before offered class we’ll get extra weird with our materials!

In this Pour Darling class you will learn how to thin and mix acrylic paint, the mediums you can use at home and how to use additives for cool effects! Together we will learn and practice the “Tree Ring” technique which creates a beautiful circular line design within your unique masterpiece. But here’s the twist! We won’t be pouring on canvas… We’ll be pouring on a scratched vintage record!

Upcycling this material saves it from the landfill & makes a unique conversation starter. When finished/dried, a poured record can be hung on the wall as is, you can add embellishments OR you can turn it into a clock! All finishing options will be discussed in class.

All materials included in cost of class! In this class each student will make TWO record paintings. A 78 & a 45.

Paintings can be picked up from the brewery at a designated Art Pick-up night. If you can’t make it for art pick-up, you can grab them at my studio in Black Mountain OR for a small fee I can ship your record painting to you!
