Acrylic pouring is a delight, a challenge, a therapeutic endeavor. Here at the Pour Darling Studio, classroom & gallery, I believe that everyone is an artist. There can be art and flow in everything we do, even in the mundane! From baking bread, to riding a bike, to planting a garden. The stranger and darker the world around us becomes (and the world is getting pretty strange and pretty dark) the more necessary it is for us to create and indulge in things that inspire us and bring beauty and light into our lives. Art for the sake of art is both a radical and comforting act. I invite you to join me in this brilliant contradiction.
